The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English and possess extensive experience in investment operations, preferably gained at reputable insurance companies or established investment platforms.

A leading Hong Kong-based, overseas subsidiary of a major Mainland-backed insurer, this firm is one of the region's largest Chinese institutional investors. It offers life insurance, investment management, and retirement fund services spanning Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia.

It operates both proprietary and third-party asset management platforms, delivering global asset allocation through a value-driven philosophy and attracting assets under management in the hundreds of billions HKD.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the fund's investment strategies, risk management framework, and operational plans.
  • Establish and continuously refine operational and management standards, ensuring robust systems, processes, and guidelines across the organization.
  • Oversee and monitor investment projects, promptly addressing and resolving any unforeseen issues.
  • Provide strategic support for investment activities and drive ongoing development of the investment system platform.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to domestic and international authorities regarding investment operations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within large financial institutions (asset management or insurance companies preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative team spirit; quick learner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent Chinese report writing skills.
  • Fluent in written Chinese and English; strong spoken Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
