About Our Client

Our client is an international luxury travel agency renowned for crafting extraordinary travel experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Through fully personalised itineraries, curated experiences, and exclusive partnerships, they deliver journeys that immerse travellers in authentic culture and hidden gems. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a Travel Planning Manager to lead their Small Group Departures division.

Job Description

Trip Management:

  • Oversee fixed departures to achieve revenue and service targets, including ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, dining, and local guides, while ensuring 24/7 customer support for travellers from over 50 countries.



Planning & Analysis:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to finalize trips for launch.
  • Ensure departmental profitability through revenue forecasting and cost control.
  • Prepare reports and performance analysis.



Team Leadership:

  • Manage Small Group Departures executives in itinerary planning, costing, and pricing.
  • Oversee trip operations to maximize profit margins and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work closely with Tour Concierges and implement feedback for continuous improvement.



Sales & Marketing:

  • Build relationships with Tour Consultants and private designers to drive sales.
  • Initiate partnerships with agencies and alternative sales channels.
  • Collaborate with Marketing for promotional campaigns.
  • Recruit and manage a team of Travel Concierges.
  • Support the launch of similar group tours in China.
  • Assist with product development and marketing projects.
  • Support local initiatives and ad hoc assignments.



The Successful Applicant

Proven leadership and managerial experience in travel operations.

Strong passion for travel and extensive travel knowledge.

Familiarity with luxury and sophisticated travel requirements.

Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
