We are seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer with expertise in Java and Linux to join a leading financial services organization in North Point. This role involves supporting technology advancements within the banking sector while ensuring high-quality software development and system performance.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for banking operations
  • Collaborate with teams to analyse requirements and deliver robust solutions
  • Implement and optimise middleware components such as JBoss and Tomcat
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and ensure application stability
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide ongoing support for applications
  • Work with databases including DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server
  • Optional involvement in automation tools like UiPath and Excel scripting

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and Linux shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Spring framework and Flowable engine
  • Hands-on experience with Linux OS and middleware (JBoss/Tomcat)
  • Knowledge of DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server databases
  • Banking or credit operations domain knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
