We are looking for a talented Java System Analyst to join the Technology department in the Insurance industry. The role focuses on developing and maintaining systems for Life Insurance Claims, ensuring high-quality performance and efficiency.

Job Description

  • Act as a key bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Identify areas for system enhancement and define solutions to uplift workflow efficiency.
  • Design or modify core insurance systems, mobile solutions, data platforms, and vendor tools.
  • Review vendor proposals, technical documents, contracts, and statements of work.
  • Validate API specifications and coordinate architecture reviews with the governance board.
  • Oversee system cutovers, migration activities, and production deployments.
  • Deliver user training to support adoption during and after system rollout.
  • Provide ongoing advisory support and resolve post‑implementation issues.
  • Use system data to generate insights that support strategic project decisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong technical background in insurance system implementation and support.
  • 10+ years' experience in financial institutions or insurance environments.
  • Proven track record in system analysis, development, and system rollout.
  • Understanding of life insurance operations, particularly new business processes.
  • Hands‑on skills in Java and React development.
  • Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL databases.
  • Familiar with Azure cloud, APIM, and AI‑related technologies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
