Job Description

  • Maintenance and enhancement of public-facing applications to ensure service stability and address user needs
  • Technical support and development of content management system for the HKMA Corporate Websites with focuses on operations automation, security compliance and web accessibility
  • Application modernization to revamp legacy and monolithic applications to modern architectures and platforms, adopting DevOps practices and leveraging corporate technology stack
  • Support work outside normal office hours as per request (e.g. application deployment, system patch management and production incidents)

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree or tertiary education in computer science or related fields
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant IT experience in website and web applications [Category: B5 - Application Developer (Web/Mobile) - 1+ year]
  • Solid development experience with JavaScript (e.g. Vue.js and Node.js), PHP (with Laravel Framework), HTML, JSON and UiPath
  • Experience in supporting and developing WordPress content management system and RESTful API an advantage
  • Self-motivated and innovative to keep in pace with the latest and emerging technologies
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
