Job Description

  • Participate in Agile development teams to build scalable applications and backend services
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Lead junior developers in system enhancement projects and production issue resolution
  • Design and implement customer-facing backend services with performance and reliability in mind
  • Proactively identify and resolve defects using appropriate tools and creative problem-solving
  • Evaluate and propose technical options that align with both business needs and system architecture

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in application development and system support
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in key technologies: Java Spring Boot, React Native, NodeJS
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and scalable backend architecture
  • Strong skills in technical solution design and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience leading 2-5 junior developers and collaborating with offshore teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Experience in mid-scale enhancements across web platforms, batch jobs, and backend systems
  • Exposure to penetration test vulnerability remediation is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for developer-level roles
  • Skilled in written and spoken Chinese and English
