Job Description

As a Fixed Income Research professional, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct in-depth credit research and macroeconomic analysis across global and Greater China fixed income markets
  • Monitor and evaluate bond issuers, including sovereign, quasi-sovereign, corporate, and financial institutions
  • Support portfolio managers with investment recommendations and trade ideas based on rigorous bottom-up and top-down research
  • Track market developments, new issuance trends, and regulatory changes impacting fixed income instruments
  • Prepare regular research reports, presentations, and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with trading, portfolio management, and risk teams to ensure alignment of research insights with investment strategies



The Successful Applicant

A successful Fixed Income Research professional should have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed income research, preferably within asset management, investment banking, or rating agencies
  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, or related disciplines; postgraduate degree preferred
  • CFA charterholder or equivalent qualification is a plus
  • Native Mandarin speaker with excellent command of English
  • Proficient in financial modeling, Bloomberg, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Excel, SQL)
  • Solid understanding of China and global bond markets, including offshore RMB and USD-denominated instruments
