Job Description

  • Oversee the effective and consistent management of the Error Trade Policy and Dynamic Price Bands on the trading platform.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures for Error Trade Policy and Dynamic Price Bands, maintaining thorough documentation for regulatory purposes.
  • Apply expert judgement to assess and address trades that appear erroneous, misleading, or outside the scope of the error trade policy.
  • Conduct system health checks following platform start-up.
  • Manage major incidents on the trading platform, including clear and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Respond efficiently to stakeholder inquiries regarding pricing procedures and overall trading operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues, escalating to technical support teams when necessary.
  • Coordinate daily handovers with the London team to ensure operational continuity.
  • Escalate critical issues to management promptly and concisely.
  • Maintain and update platform statistics and analytical coding as required.
  • Deliver demonstrations and training sessions on platform functionalities for market participants.
  • Review, maintain, and update departmental documentation to reflect current processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of regulatory reports on trading users and activities.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance price discovery procedures, actively contributing to related projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in project work as needed, including UAT testing and updating operational procedures to support platform enhancements.
  • Assist with platform upgrades and manage conformance processes for Asia Pacific members and software vendors.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of four year's experience in the financial sector.
  • Strong understanding or hands-on experience in electronic trading systems.
  • Familiarity with market terminology and trading concepts.
  • Knowledge of Futures and Options is advantageous.
  • Understanding of prompt date structures and contract mechanics is a plus.
  • Awareness of forward price curves and dealing regulations is beneficial.
