They are looking for an Investment Operations Senior Analyst to handle investment operations, redemption, reconciliation, unit pricing management, reporting. The candidate should have 4-8 years of working experience in pension funds investment operations review/ monitoring, pension admin, transfer agency with pension fund knowledge (ORSO/ MPF) within insurance/ FI industry.

They are looking for an Investment Operations Senior Analyst to join the Investment Operations team to handle investment operations, trade order placements, redemption, reconciliation, unit pricing management and reporting. Their clients include the world's largest corporations, pension funds and financial institutions and they leverage their expertise and advanced digital platforms to ensure a seamless user experience and superior outcomes. The role plays a major role in meeting client objectives and enhancing the overall customer experience for the group.

Job Description

  • Responsible for daily investment operations review and monitoring including but not limited to trade order placement, valuation and reconciliation etc. for pension schemes (ORSO/ MPF)
  • Deliver reporting of investment / redemption amount, cash flow management, and relevant reconciliations
  • Handle Unit pricing management and Crediting rate upload process
  • Perform assessment and review where applicable on procedural updates for Investment Operations processes
  • Resolve or further escalate issues, flagged transactions, and risks raised by Investment Operations Team for reporting internally to senior management and externally to clients
  • Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Business Support etc.) and external parties (Fund Managers, Custodians etc.) to provide Investment Operations input where needed in operational enquiries or internal system enhancements and to act as Client Accounting first line of contact where needed for discussions, negotiations, resolutions respectively

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree with major in business administration, accounting, finance or relevant discipline
  • 4-8 years of working experience in pension funds investment operations review/ monitoring, pension administration, transfer agency with pension fund knowledge (ORSO/ MPF) within insurance/ FI industry.
  • Strong understanding of pension administration, legislation, laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc) and General Ledger knowledge (PeopleSoft preferred)
