Job Description

  • Managing capacity planning and sourcing strategies to meet production demands.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Implement contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to safeguard timelines.
  • Track lead times and operational efficiency to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct capacity reviews and secure production slots to meet seasonal timelines.
  • Monitor factory utilisation and mitigate risks through contingency planning.
  • Partner with internal party including Product Development, Design, Quality, and Merchandising to ensure flawless execution.
  • Analyse forecasts, lead times, and efficiency metrics to enhance pre-production processes.
  • Prepare reports on capacity status and on-time delivery performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years in apparel sourcing, capacity planning, or merchandising.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and capacity planning processes within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and supply chain software.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A proactive approach to managing supplier relationships.
