Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Manager to lead external financial analysis, deliver strategic market insights, and support executive decision-making through actionable intelligence.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Lead ongoing analysis of competitor performance, industry benchmarks, and market dynamics to inform strategic positioning.
  • Monitor global and regional economic indicators, regulatory changes, and tax policies impacting the business.
  • Provide timely insights on pricing trends, trade spend benchmarks, and channel profitability across markets.



Strategic Advisory

  • Partner with regional country managers and senior leadership to translate external market intelligence into actionable strategies.
  • Support management in evaluating new market entry opportunities, investment decisions, and risk exposures.
  • Deliver scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess potential impacts of macroeconomic shifts and policy changes.



Operational Excellence

  • Develop standardized reporting frameworks to track competitor movements, market trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Implement automation and digital tools (e.g., SAP, PowerBI) to enhance efficiency and accuracy of external analysis.



Leadership & Projects

  • Annually lead 2+ strategic projects focused on market expansion, competitor benchmarking, or regulatory adaptation.
  • Propose and implement 2+ actionable recommendations to optimize tax strategy, market positioning, or capital allocation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in audit, strategy, or consulting within a Big Four firm, including at least 3 years of local work experience in Hong Kong
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA are required
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, modeling, competitor benchmarking, and macroeconomic analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and data visualization tools (PowerBI advantageous)
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Independent, analytical thinker with a collaborative approach.
  • Agile in navigating fast-changing market and regulatory environments
