Job Description

As a Head of Treasury and ALM, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the treasury operations and ensuring proper liquidity management.
  • Overseeing asset-liability management to optimize financial performance.
  • Developing and implementing effective treasury strategies and policies.
  • Monitoring market trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
  • Leading and mentoring the treasury team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks in a timely manner.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Treasury and ALM should have:

  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in banking and financial services.
  • Proven expertise in treasury operations and asset-liability management.
  • 15 years of treasury experience at a bank
  • People management experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management practices.
