Our client is a well-established organization within the financial services industry. Currently, they are looking for an Assistant Manager/Manager to join their risk department to monitor SME loans due diligence.

Job Description

  • Review claim requests for defaulted commercial or SME loans under loan guarantee schemes.
  • Monitor debt recovery actions and legal proceedings against defaulted borrowers and guarantors.
  • Coordinate debt workout processes and assess repayment proposals efficiently.
  • Support team operations, improve procedures, and enhance efficiency through technology.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years (Deputy Manager) / 3 years (Assistant Manager) experience in debt collection or corporate restructuring/insolvency.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent English and Chinese proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, data analysis, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
