Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles and practices effectively.
  • Identifying and addressing any roadblocks that could affect project progress.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to achieve project goals.
  • Tracking and reporting on the team's progress and performance metrics.
  • Promoting transparency and open communication within the team and with stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • A strong understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry or technology-related projects.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to guide team discussions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables effectively.
