Job Description

  • Develop and manage detailed technical specifications for outerwear, woven& knit apparel.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure design feasibility and optimise production efficiency.
  • Oversee the sample development process, ensuring alignment with design intent and quality standards.
  • Conduct fit sessions and provide precise technical feedback for pattern adjustments.
  • Guarantee all apparel meet company quality, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical specifications, design revisions, and approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and innovations to continuously enhance product development processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong background in fashion design, product development or a related field with technical expertise in outerwear, woven& knit products.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools used in the Retail industry.
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction and pattern-making.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
