Job Description

  1. Operational Strategy - Design and implement operational frameworks to support hedge fund activities across Master, Offshore, and Onshore funds.
  2. Risk Management Oversight - Ensure robust risk controls aligned with the firm's emphasis on stable, long-term returns and regulatory compliance.
  3. Fund Operations Management - Oversee trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation processes for long and short positions.
  4. Regulatory Compliance - Maintain adherence to SFC and international regulations, including reporting and audit requirements.
  5. Technology & Infrastructure - Optimize portfolio management systems and operational technology to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  6. Performance Monitoring - Establish KPIs for operational efficiency, fund performance support, and client service standards.
  7. Financial Planning - Collaborate with CFO on budgeting, cost control, and operational forecasting for AUM growth.
  8. Investor Relations Support - Coordinate operational aspects of client onboarding, reporting, and communication for institutional investors.
  9. Team Leadership - Build and manage high-performing operations and support teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  10. Vendor & Service Provider Management - Negotiate and manage relationships with custodians, prime brokerages

The Successful Applicant

  1. Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business; MBA or CFA preferred.
  1. Experience - 10-15 years in senior operational roles within hedge funds or asset management firms.
  2. Regulatory Knowledge - Deep understanding of SFC regulations and global compliance standards.
  3. Risk Management Expertise - Proven ability to implement and monitor risk frameworks for complex portfolios.
  4. Technical Skills - Familiarity with portfolio management systems, OMS, and data analytics tools.
  5. Strategic Thinking - Ability to align operational initiatives with investment strategies and growth objectives.
  1. Leadership - Strong track record in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  1. Communication - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Financial Acumen - Proficiency in budgeting, cost optimization, and operational financial planning.
  3. Adaptability - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with concentrated portfolios and dynamic markets.
