We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist (Windows & Linux) to join our Technology department within the Financial Services industry. The role focuses on managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced banking environment.

Our client is a well-established company in the Financial Services industry, operating as part of a large organization in Hong Kong. The company is known for its strong presence in the market and commitment to excellence in its operations.

Job Description

  • Administer and support servers and network infrastructure
  • Provide end-user workstation support, including Windows OS and productivity tools
  • Assist with IT enhancement initiatives and project implementation
  • Maintain and review IT hardware inventory and support contracts
  • Ensure compliance with group IT policies, procedures, and standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with 2 years in finance
  • Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or Linux are advantageous
  • Proficient in Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Skilled in managing networking equipment (firewalls, routers, switches)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN technologies
  • Experience with PABX and voice recording systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure
  • Good command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
