We are looking for a junior-level Paralegal to join a leading disputes practice in Hong Kong. The role will initially be a 12-month contract, with an opportunity to extend.

About Our Client

Our client is a prominent UK law firm with a highly regarded disputes practice in Hong Kong. Due to a large case they are handling, they are looking to hire additional headcount.

Job Description

This role will work closely in the team under one Partner who is leading a large disputes case with cross-border exposure, in particular involving Mainland China. The paralegal will be responsible for high-level document review, e-discovery work, translation/proofreading and document management. Depending on the length of the case, the paralegal may also provide support to other partners in the disputes practice.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a law graduate with around 1 year of related paralegal experience. Prior exposure working in a litigation/dispute resolution practice will be preferred, however the position will also consider candidates from other practice areas with transferable skills. A high proficiency in English and Chinese is required, as well as strong attention-to-detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
