Job Description

As an Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Managing the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Reviewing and improving internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation for audits.
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assisting in tax planning and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Supporting ad hoc financial projects and reporting as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Solid communication and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
