A reputable and fast-growing company in Hong Kong is urgently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their HR team. This is a high-impact, all-rounded role that combines operational HR leadership for a dedicated business unit with the opportunity to drive strategic HR initiatives and new projects in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

Job Description

  • Act as primary HR business partner to the assigned business unit's leadership team.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, employee relations and exit processes for the unit.
  • Handle compensation & benefits administration, payroll coordination, leave & attendance tracking, and benefits enrollment for the unit's headcount.
  • Provide timely advice and support on workforce planning, headcount budgeting, organisational structure changes and people cost control.
  • Drive employee engagement, culture alignment and change management initiatives within the unit.
  • Lead or co-lead cross-functional HR projects (examples may include: performance framework refresh, hybrid work policy rollout, succession & talent pipeline build, HR digitalisation / HRIS enhancement, total rewards review, DEI programs, etc.).
  • Participate in annual C&B cycles (salary review, bonus design, benchmarking) and support group-level policy formulation and communication.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardisation across business units.
  • Prepare HR analytics, dashboards and management reports to support decision-making at both unit and group level.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline; postgraduate qualification or HR certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of solid HR generalist experience, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role in a fast-growing company, multinational or sizable local organisation.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end HR operations for a business unit / division and acting as credible HR business partner to senior leaders.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment (including volume hiring), C&B administration, payroll oversight and HR project delivery.
  • Strong commercial mindset - able to link HR actions to business performance and growth priorities.
  • Agile, hands-on, structured and comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in HRIS (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR or similar) and advanced MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
