We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Sourcing Manager to support the execution of regional sourcing strategies and maintain strong vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in ensuring global sourcing objectives are met, with a focus on performance, quality, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.Job DescriptionLead and support cross-functional initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency, operational agility, and cost-effectiveness.Contribute to strategic sourcing projects focused on optimising cost structures and improving landed cost performance from both brand and supplier perspectives.Cultivate and manage strategic vendor partnerships to support regional sourcing initiatives and ensure alignment with global business objectives.Drive vendor performance by managing KPIs and implementing action plans that consistently exceed targets outlined in the Vendor Scorecard.Oversee daily production work-flows and vendor operations, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of work-in-progress. Liaise with Apparel Operations and Supply Planning to uphold quality, compliance, and logistics standards.Identify operational inefficiencies and capability gaps within the vendor base, and lead cross-functional efforts to implement effective solutions.Partner with regional Quality Control teams to proactively address and resolve product quality issues.Support the development and execution of product allocation strategies across APAC manufacturing sites, collaborating closely with Development, Design, Technical, and Sourcing teams.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.8 years of experience in product development and sourcing, preferably in apparel.Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in pre-costing analysis and cost negotiations.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.What's on OfferA supportive and inclusive work culture that values employees' well-beingOpportunities for professional growth and developmentThe chance to work with a dedicated and talented teamA role that allows you to make a real impact in the retail industryWe look forward to welcoming you to our team and offering you an exciting opportunity to make a difference in our organisation.
