About Our Client

A leading international shipping and logistics company is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Head of Operations to lead its operations in Africa. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business within the region, including operational efficiency, commercial growth, and full P&L ownership.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage all country operations, including shipping, logistics, and support functions
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share and revenue
  • Oversee full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure operational efficiency and service quality across all functions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and government authorities
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure business adaptability
  • Represent the company in industry forums and local engagements



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in shipping, logistics, or related industries
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale operations and P&L responsibility
  • Strong understanding of African market dynamics and regulatory environments
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capabilities
  • Willingness to be stationed in Africa and travel as required
  • Fluency in French & English is a MUST
