Job Description

As a Client Advisor Assistant (KYC Focused), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage client onboarding by collecting, verifying, and maintaining complete KYC documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and related regulations.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious activities or discrepancies per AML and SFC protocols.
  • Maintain accurate client records and systems with strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure suitability assessments and risk profiles are completed accurately during onboarding.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, advisors, and external parties for timely communication.
  • Execute trade orders across platforms, ensuring prompt confirmations and follow-ups.
  • Adhere to regulatory frameworks such as CRS, FATCA, W-8BEN, AML, and SFC conduct standards.
  • Provide administrative support to client advisors, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing correspondence.
  • Coordinate with clients and service providers to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery.
  • Prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks effectively without compromising accuracy.
  • Apply strong operational and product knowledge with a client-focused approach.
  • Collaborate within a team environment, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Client Advisor Assistant (KYC Focused) should have:

  • Experience in client services, operations, or administrative roles within financial services, private banking, or wealth management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, client due diligence, and regulatory compliance (SFC, CRS, FATCA, W-8BEN, AML).
  • Familiarity with suspicious transaction reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service mindset.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; SFC license is an advantage.
