Our client is currently looking for a Licensing Associate involves managing licensing processes for SFC and HKMA regulated entities, advising on registration matters, and coordinating with global and regional teams to ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. It requires strong knowledge of Hong Kong licensing regimes, excellent communication and organisational skills with 4 years up of working experience in relevant field.

Our client is a leading global financial services firm providing investment banking, securities, wealth management, and investment management services. They are looking for a Licensing Associate to support regulatory compliance by managing licensing processes for SFC and HKMA entities, advising on registration matters, and coordinating with global teams to ensure cross-jurisdictional alignment.

Job Description

  • Managing and maintaining regulatory licensing records for the Banking & Financial Services department.
  • Ensuring all licensing applications and renewals comply with the relevant regulations in the Financial Services industry.
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory filings and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external regulators to address licensing-related queries.
  • Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and updating licensing processes accordingly.
  • Providing support for audits and inspections related to licensing activities.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc compliance and licensing projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree holder of business administration or relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of working experience in licensing/ regulation compliance area
  • Strong attention to detail, technical skills with clear and logical manner
  • Work collaboratively with team member
  • Strong quick learning ability to understand policies, procedures, systems, process and controls
  • Excellent of written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
