As part of its upcoming development plan, my client is seeking a highly capable Chief Financial Officer to drive the business forward. This is a comprehensive Hong Kong Listed CFO opportunity with full scope responsibilities, reporting directly to the CEO.

About Our Client

I am representing a well-established and stable manufacturing organisation in the search for a highly credible Chief Financial Officer. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and Board of Directors, with significant visibility and autonomy to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. The most ideal candidate should come from the manufacturing sector as an industry exposure and is well versed with Hong Kong Listing rules and compliance.

Job Description

  • Report to the CEO, manage the finance team in Hong Kong and China
  • Overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities to support strategic decision-making
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to optimize profitability and growth
  • Providing leadership and direction to the Accounting & Finance team
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to drive business performance and sustainability
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks effectively
  • Supervising audits and liaising with external auditors and stakeholders as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles within the manufacturing sector is a must
  • At least 20-25 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Candidates with a Big 4 audit background is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Language capability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
