We are seeking a skilled Data Business Analyst to join the Analytics department within the Financial Services industry. This temporary role in Kowloon requires a professional who can effectively analyze and interpret data to support business decisions.

Job Description

  • Drive and execute changes to implement regulatory control outcomes.
  • Support the design and implementation of data, infrastructure, and reporting controls.
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure adherence to HSBC Group standards.
  • Analyse processes and data flows to identify gaps and propose improvements.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for stakeholders across local, regional, and global levels.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business analysis, data management, project or risk management within banking or finance.
  • Degree in business, information systems, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems, data processes, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with proven stakeholder management ability.
  • High attention to detail and ability to assess complex processes and large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience in process analysis and/or data management in banking or finance.
