We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the retail industry. This position is responsible for managing statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting internal and external audits to ensure the company meets all financial obligations in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
  • Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tasks.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Participating in audits and providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in accounting operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
