Job Description

  • Establish the HRBP function in Hong Kong to support the firm's regional expansion.
  • Act as a senior advisor to stakeholders across Asia and the Middle East, influencing decision‑making and building trusted, credible relationships.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to partners, senior leadership, and business services heads on workforce planning, talent initiatives, performance management, and organisational development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple jurisdictions and align practices with global HR policies.
  • Use people analytics and insights to anticipate workforce needs and support strategic planning.
  • Lead and implement regional HR initiatives while ensuring alignment with global HRBP frameworks.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Drive a high‑performance culture through objective‑setting, feedback, leadership coaching, and capability building.
  • Partner on resourcing strategies, succession planning, and talent identification for business‑critical roles.
  • Contribute to global HRBP projects and cross‑border collaboration.
  • Supervise HR Advisors, with potential to build and lead a wider team as the region grows.
  • Support annual compensation and reward cycles, ensuring fairness and regulatory compliance.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and the firm's core values.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree‑qualified; CIPD or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' HRBP experience, working directly with senior leadership on a consultative and partnering basis.
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge, and advise senior stakeholders in a professional services or regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment law across Asia and/or the Middle East.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters and providing commercially sound guidance.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into practical people solutions.
  • Skilled in data interpretation and using insights to inform decision‑making.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building capability.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising HR team members.
  • English proficiency required; Cantonese or Mandarin advantageous.
